If you noticed steam coming from the UpStage IRC channel recently, it’s because Martin Eisenbarth has been working intensely on the video hack; and yesterday you would have also heard screams – of joy and excitement, as Helen and Martin exchanged the first live audio-visual streams through the UpStage interface.

APO33 developer Romain Papion was also hard at work, installing UpStage on an APO33 server; with Martin’s support in the IRC channel he got everything installed and is now poised to test the streaming.
