The next Open Walkthrough in UpStage will take place on 2nd and 3rd November 2025 (depending on where in the world you are):

This hands-on online session is for anyone who would like a basic introduction to the UpStage platform, and for players who want to refresh their skills. You will learn most of the on-stage tools, and general concepts behind creating and presenting cyberformance in UpStage, as well as meet and network with other UpStage players and have fun improvising together.

To participate, email info@upstage.org.nz and request a guest log-in. If you already have a player account, just turn up on the day. The walkthrough takes place in the Demo stage.

No special skills or equipment needed. UpStage works in a web browser, on mobile devices as well as PCs, but we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer rather than a mobile device for the best player experience.
