This hands-on UpStage workshop follows on from the “Take Your Space” presentation, and is part of the Skillsharing Herbst 2023 organised by mur.at. The workshop is co-hosted by KiG! and takes place there, led by Helen Varley Jamieson online and Eva Ursprung at KiG!.

In the workshop, participants will be given an UpStage account and will learn how to upload their own media, create stages, and collaborate remotely in real time with other artists to present cyberformance – live online performances. Live media such as streams (audio and video), drawing and text will be used in combination with pre-prepared media such as images, sounds and animations.

Participants do not need any specific technical knowledge. Please bring your own laptop and headphones to the workshop. If you have ideas for material to use in a performance, such as images or sounds that you have as digital files, please also bring those.
