Meta Theater, near Munich in Germany, is experimenting with UpStage as part of its current #digital project.

The project is exploring digital possibilities for cultural mediation and networking, as well as testing and producing new digital and/or hybrid formats for a sustainable digital strategy. In particular, they are interested in developing new ways of interaction between artists themselves, and also with the audience. UpStage is a key element of Meta Theater’s #digital infrastructure.

On 10 March at 19:00 CET, the first of Meta Theater’s “Impro Open UpStage” events will take place. Artists will improvise on the live stage and online, and audiences are invited to join online or analogue, in Meta’s theatre space. More information here.
