Cherry Truluck, Suzon Fuks, James Cunningham and Liz Bryce – now operating as activelayers will be presenting their new project, “Calling Home“, as part of the Mediatised Sites festival in Newcastle, UK.

Four people, four geographies, one site. Meet Heather, Esme, Michael J Finch and Grand Uncle; they want to talk about where they come from and where they are going. Aren’t we all just trying to find our way home?

The project will go live at midnight (UK time) on 18th April 2008 and you will be able to meet and interact with Michael Finch, Grand Uncle, Heather and Esme at 9pm (UK time) on 19th April (find your local time here).

“Calling Home” is the first performance to be selected for the 080808 UpStage Festival; we’re announcing its selection early because the performance involves a build-up over the next few months up to the 080808 performance.
