NEW TECHNOLOGIES 09
The exhibition NEW TECHNOLOGIES is a project of the Gallery of Contemporary Art, Pancevo. Its goal is to present art works that are made with help of new or recently available technologies. In the selected works artists use digital cameras, 2D and 3D graphics applications, animations and satellite video links.
The exhibiting artists include: Ivana Smiljanic, Dragan Stojcevski, Ana Mandic and Bojana Radovanovic, Jelena Rubil, Jelena Lalic and Katarina Djordjevic Urosevic. Part of the exhibition will be the presentation of a studio for digital character animation at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, Serbia; and Jelena Lalic and Katarina Djordjevic Urosevic will present the 090909 UpStage Festival and perform their cyberformance The Dish at the opening of the exhibition.
Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to see the showreel of the 090909 UpStage Festival and information panels about UpStage and the Festival.
