UpStage at TIP2013, Hawaii: 15/16 Jan

Vicki and Helen will present UpStage at the TIP2013 conference on 15 January in Hawaii (remotely, unfortunately!). Join the presentation online here: https://upstage.org.nz:8084/stages/tip2013

TIP2013, hosted by the University of Hawaii, is a joint conference between APAN (Asia-Pacific Advanced Network) and the ESCC/Internet2 Joint Techs meeting – a big gathering of people involved in network technology and internet infrastructure; “TIP” stands for “Techs In Paradise”. We’re part of the eCulture Working Group session, in a roundtable discussion on cyberformance, along with Suzon Fuks presenting about the Waterwheel Tap. Other discussions in the eCulture working group will look at the development of an e-logbook for Indonesian fishermen, digitisation of traditional Indonesian masks, and Brasilian experience in networked performance art.

Our presentation will be given in UpStage, therefore accessible to an online audience as well as those present at the conference. We are scheduled to present at 11am Hawaiian time on 15 January (find your local time here) and you can join the presentation online here: https://upstage.org.nz:8084/stages/tip2013
