Here in UpStage-land we are all very focussed on preparations for the 11:11:11 UpStage Festival, now only two weeks away. The artists are putting the final touches on their avatars, the recorders are making a schedule, everyone is spreading the word …

Meanwhile in cyberspace, many UpStage artists and friends are involved in other activities, such as the work-in-progress showing of the Water-wheel project last week. Node host MAD in Eindhoven, Netherlands, is currently hosting an urban intervention festival, Hacking the City, and opening tomorrow (Friday 28th) at APO33 in Nantes, France, is their first Grande Exposition d’art Sonore.
