UpStage has existed for almost 20 years as an innovative online venue for experimental cyberformance (live online performance). The project has received small irregular grants but has been mainly sustained over the years by considerable volunteer input.

Now that the software has been rebuilt, we are seeking to establish a more sustainable financial basis. One possible income stream is small regular contributions from indivdiuals who love and support UpStage. Knowing that we have at least some regular income means that we can be sure to cover unavoidable costs such as hosting and technical maintenance.
