Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh is launching a new MA in Digital Performance, featuring UpStage as one of its foundational tools.
The Masters course aims to respond to the need created by the pandemic, for performers to move their practice online, to allow students to explore the digital space as a site for performance making and creative collaboration, enabling them to find their artistic voice online. aught by academic staff who are actively working in this expanding field and have a wealth of experience as performance makers, the course is designed to appeal both to performing arts professionals looking to upskill and recent graduates looking to be at the forefront of contemporary performance practice.
Students will have the opportunity to create original performance content on UpStage, as well as other platforms such as Twitch, Zoom, BBB, jitsi, Gather.town and Second Life.
