An UpStage workshop was held at the Norsk Telemuseum with 12 enthusiastic students. The Telemuseum was a node for 080808 and will be a node again for 090909 - and hopefully there’ll be a performance or two from the workshop participants as well.

let ME go is a performance installation by Antonella Diana & Helen Varley Jamieson, taking place in UpStage and on site at Teatret OM in Ringkobing, Denmark. It is inspired by the story of the Sumerian goddess Iananna’s descent to the underworld.
The installation operated for 2 hours each day from 10 to 14 June (see the schedule here, with links to find your local time), and during these times the online and on site audiences will be able to interact via UpStage (at other times you are welcome to enter the installation online, but there won’t be any live element).
The installation has finished now but you can still enter the online installation here.

“Let ME Go” is a performance installation using UpStage and a physical installation at Teatret OM
in Ringkobing, Denmark, created by Antonella Diana and Helen Varley Jamieson.
“Let ME Go” is inspired by the Sumerian myth of Inanna’s journey to the underworld. Inanna, the Queen of Heaven, descends to visit her sister Ereshkigal, Queen of the Underworld. To get there, she must pass through seven gates and at each gate give up one of her “me”, the symbols of her powers. What are your “me” and what can you let go of?
The installation is presented as part of the festival Ur-Nat/Natur, 10-14 June 2009.
